Our Foundations and Team
Founded by Roy Herridge QPM, an esteemed former senior officer of the Metropolitan Police, Surelock is built on a foundation of unmatched expertise. Now managed by former Scotland Yard Detective and President of The Association of British Investigators, Ron Harrison.
Our team, comprising former professionals from the police, fire service, military, trading standards, and both the private and public sectors, offers a wealth of diverse skills.
This includes retired senior detectives from Scotland Yard, bringing years of experience in high-level investigations, placing us in a unique position within the industry.

A totally committed workaholic and true professional, with 20 years in the private sector and 30 years’ experience as a Police Officer and Detective with Scotland Yard, working on specialist squads both in the UK and abroad.
Ron is an active member, and past President, of The Association of British Investigators and a member of The World Association of Detectives.
Dave specialises in online investigations, taking down multiple infringing counterfeit products worldwide.

A multi-skilled and legally qualified former Senior Trading Standards Officer with over 40 years experience in anti-counterfeit investigations.
A seasoned security consultant with over 30 years experience, Home Office trained with a wealth of knowledge in Crime Prevention and Anti-terrorism.

Jake specialises in marketplace brand protection and also online investigations, test purchases both physical and online for some of our retained clients.

Having carried out investigations throughout Europe, Turkey, Japan, South Korea and China, we’ve developed a worldwide network of intelligence, which is regularly updated from our many sources. We’ve also been involved in a number of high profile investigations into sports, fraud, violence, substance abuse, insurance and IP fraud and are used to working under the spot light of intense media attention.

As members of the Anti-Counterfeiting Group, we specialise in combating counterfeit goods, significantly impacting the seizure of over £250 million worth of counterfeit products annually.
